What is textile paint?

Textile paint is the ideal solution for personalizing your accessories or giving new life to your old clothes. Thanks to its versatility and ease of use, this paint can be used to create unique designs on a variety of fabrics, whether natural (such as cotton, linen, jute, wool or silk) or synthetic. Applied with a brush, pipette or stencil, it lends itself to all your projects, whether they involve light or dark, thin or thick fabrics. Its creamy texture enables you to produce precise lines and work with subtle color blends. In addition to guaranteeing excellent adhesion to fibers, textile paint preserves fabric suppleness while offering perfect resistance to washing.

Its features

  • Water-based paint
  • Ready to use
  • Adheres to a wide variety of fabrics
  • Miscible colors
  • Wash-resistant (max. 60°C)
  • Can be diluted and cleaned with water

Instructions for use :

  • Before using the textile paint, shake the bottle well to ensure even mixing.
  • For best adhesion, pre-wash the fabric before applying the paint, avoiding the use of fabric softener.
  • Make sure the textile is clean and dry before applying the paint.
  • Fix the paint by ironing the fabric inside out for 5 minutes, without steam, adjusting the temperature according to the type of fabric.
  • For more or less opaque tones, use opacifier. Mix 50% paint and 50% opacifier to achieve the desired effect.
  • Close the bottle after each use to prevent premature drying.

How a valve marker works :

  • Shake the marker until you hear the ball inside, to mix the paint evenly.
  • Prime the marker tip by pressing the valve several times to release the paint and ensure an even flow.
  • Test the marker on a test surface to check color intensity and paint flow before starting your creation.
